Are you enrolling today (timetable and all)? If you are, they'll take your photo for ID card.

Its the pre-enrolment session, nothing happens except for them explaining what the forms and procedures are about.

Everything happens on your enrolment day.

/edit/ oops quoted wrong person.

How vital is it to actually go though? If I have friends that went today, for example, would they be able to tell me what's in the pre-enrollment session so I don't have to get off my lazy butt tommorrow?

If you have friends who went/know what to do who can help you. It's not necessary.

im going tomorrow night as i will be an evening student and i have no idea what subject im meant to choose or when subjects are on as there is nothing in the timetable information about it.. *growls*
they should have separate information packages for different types of courses because i got all this stuff which isnt even relevant to me

on another note.. when do u guys enrol?
4th of feb in the morning for me.. 2 of my school friends r on at around the same time as me so we r gonna invade the food court (well the temporary one lol) and go exploring
im guessing most of you would enrol on the 7th though.. sounds like ur all doing courses part of EFS hehe

Same for the entire EFCS faculty?

EFCS makes up for about nearly half of the courses offered at macq

and no I don't have rice, but I do have food, soup and spice.
most people take on 4 subjects a semester... so you could maybe take an elective as well or you can do a level 200 subject for semester two if you meet the pre-reqs

i went to uni today... it was like shit... no one was there... people all giving me dirty looks... what with you guys?!?!?

You definitely didn't miss anything important today.

Apart from the slightly interesting fact that some MQ post-grads who were doing work with computer chips some years ago created a company which they, apparently, later sold to CISCO systems for 600 mil.

EFS makes up for about most of the income Macquarie gets ;) (Poor International students, and their Accounting degrees)

Just went today

took me 1hr 20 min to get there

Bloody 288 bus costs $2.70 when i asked for macquarie center

Anyway it was good, they explained it pretty well

Very good looking atmosphere, the food was good, the arcade games were old, the view outside SAM cafeteria was good, very green in the back, very scenic

jsut noticed they had their own pharmacy, seven eleven type store, National Bank, travel agents, lots of other facilities

Is it me or there is alot of asian studnets, nearly half i saw looked asian
