they actually film in several places..the ward 17 scenes are filmed in epping, at the channel 7 studios, the ambulance bay/operating room/emergency room scenes are filmed at some hospital in ku-ring-gai (or however it is spelt...so im not a sydney-sider--so sue me!) and the sweeping over head shots are of concord hospital
