And being naturally smart DOES NOT = less workload.
It often means more.

I dont know if you correctly understand scaling. You're throwing the term around very loosely.

And how can your intelligence be examimed if you're not compared to your peers in the state undergoing the same process? Theres no way of gauging your intelligence unless its compared to other candidates.
arr obviously
but the main point of it isnt to compete agaisnt other students
i took u literally by wat u sed
but i dont care that much
n no1 fully understands scaling its all gobble. tho i only used the term like once wen im like get scaled against other students
i rekon u can gauge sum1s intelligence just by talkin 2 them

Of course you can, but employers and universities don't have time to talk to every applicant. Use your common sense. Unless you have been compared to peers theres not really another viable means for a potential university or workplace to gauage your intelligence.

You drive yourself to work harder and harder each time you find flaws in something you thought was perfect, or a teacher points out something you're doing wrong.

An average student is content to be average and is stoked to move above their average level.

A brilliant student will, often, work themselves to tears to be the best. To be perfect.

I thrive under expectations and pressure and competition. For me, the worst part about uni will be not having my friends to push me like they have for the past three years.

Yeahhhh. I've driven myself half mad over the trials because IHADTOBEPERFECT

And when I wasn't, I've had to come back down off my high horse and really nut out finer details, which are whats keeping me from perfection.

Being at the top is worse than at the bottom. At the bottom, you've got plenty of room to grow in leaps and bounds. At the top, its all nuts and bolts and oil changes. Very little significant things happen for you to move the slightest. A phrase there, syntax there.

I'm, in my mothers words, "A 95er wanting to do a 75ers course. Sucks to be a 75er".

You're welcome. I could use some
