Hi,

Is there any point doing 3U Maths if my desired uni course doesn't need it? I barely passed the tests and I'm considering dropping it at the start of yr 12. Also I'm not keen on doing an extra unit of maths.

then don't do it, 3u is for those that are passionate about maths and enjoy it, don't do it for scaling's sake and ur uni degree doesnt need it so don't do it.

if you have to ask that question, then clearly the answer for you is NO.

You only do extension subjects because you love/enjoy them.

No I don't. Every maths teacher at my school uses mif though.

Feels but my teacher never checks hw so now mif sits on the corner of my room for decorational purposes

if its not needed for your course drop to an easier level and boost your other subjects to get a high ATAR?
