honestly, ik what your career adviser said seems crazy, but it could be true. rank 10 could be 97-98 in adv and 93-94 in 4u at your school, which is almost equal. correct me if im wrong.

very unlikely unless a school does accel because most people getting 97-98 in adv would do 4u

Yea maybe, but he also extends this thinking to other ranks. Top 30 in 4u is equivalent top 30 in 2u, top 10 in english is equivalent to top 10 in modern history, he doesn't account for difficulty/scaling whatsoever, just pure ranks which is inaccurate.

And plus, the maximum mark he gave (person who currently has 2 rank 1s, single digit ranks for rest) was 99.5. No one has gotten higher. Bear in mind every year theres at least 2 99.95s, so pretty much the school underestimates by 0.5.
