My HSC results:

ESL 86
Maths 3u 97
Maths 4u 95
Physics 87
Chinese 84

I got a UAI of 96.85

but here is my friend's results

ESL 88
Maths 3u 92
Maths 4u 93
Chemistry 83
Chinese 88

Why she z getting a UAI of 98.2??? (I thought she z getting a UAI lower than me)

I think the mark difference of maths 3u and 4u is gonna make me better than her!

Just imagine in the state, the top Student in Chinese got higher UAI than the top student in 3u and 4u maths. Can someone tell me if this is a mistake ??

nah
because she beat you in most units, and the units you beat her in, 4 units of maths, would have scaled to nearly the same mark for each of you

well its sorta like this, in mathematical terms

maths is scaled well
everything else is scaled crap

so with maths, there's a ceiling
but with everything else there's no floor

so gettin better marks when the deviation is low and gettin crapper marks when the deviation is high, is not to your advantage.

does UNSW have good Actuarial teachers?

I probably go UNSW, cuz i like the building and facility there

Macq...... Just imagine a unversity without faculty of engineering
It's not even a complete uni.

Also i heard there is a high rate of elimination of actuarial students in Macq.
