Hi all,
I'm currently a yr 12 2026 student who's starting to look into university courses. My estimated atar is around 98. I'm considering uts law as an option as I've always aspired to study in the field of law, however is the university's prestige and ranking in law a problem compared to unsw and usyd? Will it affect employability and is it worth it to do? Other options that I've also considered is psychology at either unsw or ucat and medical imaging at usyd. Also, for unsw law, the current admission requirement is 97.7 + LAT, however now the LAT is no required for 2027 entry, how will the atar requirement be affected?
Btw, I've noticed that a lot of the lowest atar entry (local) for 2025 is considerably low compared to the required atar, e.g. i think unsw med is 96 or smt. Also, I would appreciate it if you guys could recommend me more uni courses to consider where atar requirement is 95-98.
Thanks
