'It' is coming. Not long to go now. What is it? What does it do? Well, you will have to wait to find out.

We will be releasing new information about it every few days, so make sure to check back regularly. The clues will sometimes be cryptic, at other times straight forward. One thing is for sure: it is awesome.

Make sure you start discussing and trying to solve each clue amongst yourselves. It can consist of many different 'sub-its'

PART 1
Update 7/03/2006
John: "I can only fit 200 people in my room, however, I have too many friends. I have hired some contractors to knock down the wall adjacent to my parent's bedroom. I suppose my parents can go live in the attic or garage. I should be able to have a party for 600 after the construction is complete."
Update 8/03/2006

Solution:
Current PM space is 200 [I can only fit 200 people in my room]. You will have the option of upgrading it to 600.

PART 2
Update 8/03/2006
Bigger is always better.
Update 9/03/2006
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/boredofstudies/hint3.jpg
Solution:
Only really possible to solve with the 9/03 clue. You have a picture of aviator sunglasses (aviators) with hints on the lenses as to which letters to remove and to insert. "Bigger avatars is always better" - or if you're grammatically inclinded: "are always..."

PART 3
Update 10/03/2006
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/boredofstudies/7and9.jpg
Update 11/03/2006
Fire
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/boredofstudies/hint4.jpg
Solution:
Image 1 is taken from the following album cover: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...1/104-9638823-7449509?s=music&v=glance&n=5174
The file name features the hint '7and9' which corresponds to track titles from that CD.
Within the thread I replied to some people thinking outside the box who were on the right track - the picture was taken outside the box (CD case) and hinted at the need to identify the correct tracks (from the CD).
Fire is the name of the CD.
The final hint (which wasn't shown as it was already solved) shows an electricity bill with the number six featuring a black border, whilst other numbers had blue borders. 7 and 9 were also misplaced out of order.
Electricity (Electric), 6 (Six), Fire (from previous clue), 7 and 9 (tracks): Improper dancing on the dance floor. (omit nuclear war).
What does this mean? BoS will be hosting different events in the near future including a dance party.

PART 4
Most recently, Damon created and starred in The Underground, a sketch comedy pilot introducing the next generation of the Wayans family and several other talented artists. Future comedians should take [comment] [/comment]note of this up and coming star.

PART 5 - the final chapter
Now is your chance to find out what IT really is. You will need to go through the discussion generated in this thread and see who has the most convincing argument as to what it is. After doing so, it may be a matter of word completion.

So BOS is going to have three major sections (HSC uni and post-grad or TAFE) instead of the one (HSC) it has now?

Meh. I'm too tired.

Speculations:
  • Its a bos dance party - they've done it before plus this fits in with the friends thing, however its doesn't link that well so probably not.
  • Another server so that they can handle all the new posters.
  • Linking into the above..a new server but a separation of topics e.g Secondary and Tertiary and General. Fits with the clue.
  • The study guide day...not likely as its already been talked about and it doesn't fit with the clue.
  • BoS is appropriating another site.
  • They want us to guess the participants of BigBlogger - again unlikely

I'm betting on either or both of those two, but it's still too early to make any clear guesses on what it might be. Don't forget that they'll be more clues coming up...
