Hi all, wondering how many majors you normally have to do in postgrad and which is the best for getting a job
Approved Majors

Accounting and Financial Management
Games and Multimedia
Information Technology
Mathematics and Statistics
Software Engineering
Web and Networks

It depends what kind of job you want. But generally you'll find for graduate jobs your major doesnt matter too much, usually they just specify you have some sort of IT degree.

Accounting and Financial Management would be useful if youre looking at getting IT related jobs at auditing firms such as KPMG, Deloitte etc in roles such as IT Advisory, IT Consulting etc. They tend to like putting students who have some business/commerce background into their IT roles.

From the looks of it all the rest, with the exception of math and statistics, seem fairly similar and probably wouldnt matter much.
