Where's that internal sense of rhythm? Repeat after me: "I don't need no metronome! I don't need no metronome!" :D

As for me, I've been sitting on the couch for at least 6 hours today watching tv with leg propped up. Then I had dinner (on the couch watching TV), now I've moved to the study to bludge on the computer for a while until it hits midnight, then I'll think about bed.

Oh yes. My life's exciting at the moment.

hmm. That could be problematic.

Work on individual rhythms at a time, record them, then work out the next one whilst playing the other one/s in the background?

Doesn't work when the polyrhythms exist on the same line :p

oh wow, is it possible to be able to play guitar and not get callouses?

That and fear of constantly breaking nails has been my two biggest reasons for not wanting to learn guitar (thankfully I know they make "smaller" guitars depending on what make you get, so my little finger being deformed as it reaches for that E or F sting - can't remember which! - isn't an issue :p)

hmmm

now I'd really like to learn guitar or piano in the summer holidays. I don't have either instrument handy though :(

You've seen my fingers, I've been playing close to 9-10 years this year, and I get teased I still have 'soft' hands :(

I have "soft" hands. But I'm vain and want them to stay that way :p (since my feet are already screwed and majorly calloused and such. I want at least one part of me to be proud of!!!!! rofl)

Assessments man. They are stressing me out so much I can't be fucked starting any.

1 assignment tmw and 2 exams Saturday. I don't care if I've posted this already...but 2 exams on a Saturday for subjects which A LOT of people do together and subjects that have had this clash before is just too ridiculous....

But I guess, I should start on the one due tmw now. No sleep make redruM sleepy.

For those interested here is a very rough draft of the piece. Its just to get a few things sorted in my head, and may or may not survive the critical stage of me actually doing more things with it.
