Yes.

Numbers are separated by commas and then a dash to link to the words.
The numbers in front signal the position of the double and triple bonds.

The following show the amount of one element.
mono - 1
di - 2
tri - 3
etc.


ane - single bond
ene - double bond
yne - trible bond

dihydrogenmonooxide - water - h20
2 hyrdogen, one oxide (no double bonds or triple bonds therefore no numbers in front signalling the position of these double bonds)

1, 2 - dibromoethene (two bromo's and the double bonds to the ethene are at position 1 and 2)

Yeap start counting with lowest number and in some cases you also go in alphabetical order.

The 1,2- indicates that there is a bromine atom on carbon 1 and one on carbon 2.

yep practically d same, iupac names, just named after d organisation IUPAC :)
