i was having a heap of trouble looking for texts for that pain in the arse concept Telling the Truth. However sitting at the bus stop the other day i was thinking and to my astonishment my brain actually worked.

Now the concept is Representation and Text. We have looked at how the truth is represented in Frontline or more realistically misrepresented. So instead of looking for texts relating to the misrepresentation of the truth why cant we look for texts that represent the truth.

Take for example John Grisham novels. The truth is represented in a courtroom. This isnt necessarily a good source for a text. But the news itself is a good text. The truth is represented using dialogue, visuals and audio. This is the truth.

I'd like to know if anybody thinks this is a good theory or if i'm just babbling shit?

I think contrasting a text that represents the truth with Frontline (which misrepresents the truth) could make for an extremely good essay, if done well.
