Most countries (including American Ivy Leagues) recognise the HSC, but the IB would be more impressive...

I wish I knew about the IB last year. I would have gone bad anyway, because I didn't try last year:(.

What sort of courses do you study for the IB as opposed to the HSC?

One has to learn how to spell 'Ivy League' on one's application form to any of the Ivy League schools. j/k :p :)

ummm... its harder than you think coz you gotta worry about living expenses, work and career prospects... are you planning to study or emigrate?

same sort of subjects and areas of study except they make you do all 5 main areas of study i.e you must do maths, english, at least once science, at least one humanities subject etc etc...makes for a well rounded student..

my cousin goes to Brown University, one of the big 8 Ivy Leaguers. Apparently they have no GPA system there, which is interesting.
