anyway. i don't think there's ever been a hair metal thread. time to start one.

i'll start off with a band called Winger. Fronted buy a guy named Kip Winger they were big in the late 80's and early 90's.

story goes that they were on tour watching beavis and butthead. beavis and butthead were picking on a guy that was wearing a winger shirt at school. from then on Winger were uncool and their career was over.

yes they were. more just metal at the time.

its more the period of rock of the 80's.

one of my favourite bands. if ever i was gonna make a band we would be a complete cinderella rip off. they were more blues based but got lumped in with hair metal anyway obviously because of their glam look.

I may just create my grim, necro BM thread. Except for the fact that I am a Christian, hence the lack of burning churches and pentagrams etc.

18 and life is probably my fav track on it. clips awesome too. some fun ones to play on the guitar on that album too.

Nah rachel is their bassist. Their new vocalist is Johnny Solinger (for Thickskin and Revolutions per Minute), of course i prefer bach's vocals alot more though (saw him live in concert last year)
