We're doing the society and the individual ... anyway, just wondering if anyone could inform me which would be better as an extra visual text- as in the film adaptations of Jane Eyre or Persuasion?

Like which one is truer to the original or whatever.

There are lots of Jane Eyre adaptations, so I would use the BBC one with Ciaran Hinds and Samantha Morton.

Do you mean the one from 1996 with Anna Paquin as young Jane and Charlotte Gainsbourgh as the older Jane?

I can't remember what 'changes' or 'emphases' it puts to the plot.
