Hi, I'm doing international and global studies and I want to do a Japanese subject, but I'm not sure which one to choose.

I did Japanese Extension in Yr 12 and got 47/50 for my HSC mark.

I would suppose you do the course that has Japanese Extension as a prerequisite.

But Japanese 5 has a course code of JPNS2621- doesn't the 2 at the start of a course mean it's for 2nd yr students only??

When I enrolled they said it was fine for me to go into Japanese 5. You are actually supposed to do Japanese 5 in your 3rd year if you start Japanese 1 in year 1 semester 1.
