[We're not Japanese I see your point that most countries have done nasty things in the past, but there is indeed somewhat of a problem in Japanese bureaucracy about coming to terms with it. Still, that is still no excuse to phrase it as you have.]

I find it uncomfortable to hear ppl offending both chinese and japanese, because i'm chinese studying japanese.
really what happened in teh past can't be changed, the point is that both countries are speeding up in economic growth and career in those countries can become prosperous. That is what is important.
