Im currently making a game for my year 11 assignment. My game is basically a Mario racer based game. Im wanting to load a finish screen once the players score =20. The first image shows a screenshot of me specifying the src of my image. The image is named finale.png. The second image is where i need to implement the photo once the score hits 20. The score present in that image is a test to see whether the event works. At the moment once the score hits 20 it changes to 999 (this was for testing purposes) Instead i want the finale.png to load. This photo has just simple text of well done you have completed the game.
Any help would be great thanks!

He was just trolling. You have to post all your code (or at least a sizeable chunk). we can't debug from a screenshot of two lines.

if it was a web app i'd recommend putting into a div and changing the innerhtml/content of the div rather than updating the src of an image.

We can't help you unless you post your code buddy. It's like asking "what's wrong with my working out for this maths question" without posting your working out. Stop asking until you post your code, or at least a relevant sample of it.

I have tried using this. No luck what should I do ?
Looking at your code, it looks like you are doing something completely different in finale() compared to what you are doing in drawStarField().

Your finale code should look like this:
// if player score < 20 (implement this as code)
var img = new Image()
img.src = 'finale.png';
ctx.drawImage(image, 30, 30);
Also, you should only call finale() when a players score changes.
