true but unfortunately some people (ie myself) look shit in bootcut or straight legged because of arse/thighs so its kind of the only option to make your body look in proportion. Unless of course she is talking about fully flared jeans, then thats a different story. I hate jeans where the flaring factor is really visible.
amen to that.

I can never find jeans that totally suit me, i had to make do with whqat looked the best on me, which were the conventional sass+bide, but i'm sick of them now and they're weraing out anyway. I have basically stopped looking for jeans, cos they always look shit, i find other things to wear instead of jeans, except on jeans for genes day, which sucks for me...

I soooo don't understand the price differences between different brands of jeans. Like you have two jeans, both pretty much the same, only one is a popular brand, the other is a no-name brand, the branded one is $300 yet the other is like $50. How anyone can justify charging anything over 100 bucks for jeans is beyond me...but even more surprising is that people will pay that much just for jeans

yeah, theres also significant differences in the quality of the denim which is going to effect how long they last, how they hold their shape, etc. labels such as tsubi use primarily japanese, european or american denim which is of the highest quality. additionally, all their washing and distressing is done by hand as opposed to by machine... so each pair is individual. brands such as seven for all man kind, the denim is stitched both ways as opposed to one way, in order to create a stronger and longer lasting shape. some labels use raw salvage denim, which is incredibly expensive even for them and is usually hemmed/sewn using intricate in-seaming methods.

so basically..,... there is a huge difference between supre and tsubi.

valley girl?

i always got afraid to buy their jeans.... or any of their pants from valleygirl... i touch their material and its oh so thin, not the thick textured feeling other jeans seem to have...

but if you're saying this through experience and that you've had good wear from them, i might reconsider my judgement over their jeans....
Valley Girl pants are really thin. The jeans that I have from there have lasted for a couple of years, and aren't too heavy.
