Well second day back at school i get an assessment. I thought it was lame at first but then i realised i won't have another assessment for the rest of the term for this subject except my half yearlies. Unlike my other subjects were i have assesments due in week 7 and half yearlies in week9.

Anyone else recieved an assessment already?

i remember at one stage at the end of term 2, i had assessments for every single one of my subjects all due and set within 8 days. Now THAT was fun

meh.. we got our english assessment notification first day back. since it was our first eng period of the year, the eng faculty thought they might tell us the run-down of the year.

"your assessment task notification is in your email inbox provided by the department of education"

My school doesn't have half yearlies for some reason.

Have yet to get any assessments, but I do have an English one which was carried over from last term.

Well if you got given the assessment notice before the holidays then that's ok as they have to give you a minimum of two weeks notice.

no notifications as of yet but i know i have an assessment weeks 4, 6 and 8 before the half yearlies. and the one in week 6 is the day before my 18th. fun fun for all.

I might have a maths one next week, way too soon but if we keep pushing them they'll calsh with the other millions assigments and exams I have to do.

I have a bio and english next week. Bio was put up during the holidays and english was given to us last year.

Today I got one for EE2, but its not due till week 4.

Anyway, part of it involves reading an excerpt from my major work....which I kinda havn't started yet....lol

the system whre they banned all email services (along with half the other sites on the net including google images, which i think they were able to allow for year 11 and 12 students.. or something like that apparently) and replace it with the DET's crappy email service which gives us like 2mb of storage or something really small like that.
then the whole using an i.d. to use the internet in the first place and so on... just all around stupid. all it did was piss everyone off (including the teachers)
well thats the system we have at normo, so i dunno if all the other schools have the same system, i imagine so

wow. 1 assessment?
i had nine the first term of my last year plus exams. the next term i had 7. the next term i had 2 plus trials. and then the real deal. oh yeah, plus 3 in term 4 of the previous year.
though, i think my first in my final year wasn't until week 4. so they were crammed together. bad.

My first one is 2Umaths in week 3. Then it's on every week until week7. And then half-yearlies in week 9.
