Rumour that there's a fourth Indiana Jones in the works... I stumbled across it on the imdb.com which is usually fairly credible.... this could be interesting.

yeah, he's been signed upto it.

I want to know if George Lucas and Spielberg are also going to be signed up, thats where you need a bit more than the $20mil cheque Harrison will recieve.

I hope one or the other does it, just to keep that indiana feel to it... I'm hoping it doesn't turn into some gladiator/troy/badboys2 epic....meh

I love Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
I found that the other ones weren't as good....

AHH Raiders and Temple are both awesome films

Heres what i know of the project

Essentially, everything was good to start production. They had Speilberg on to direct and Lucas was producing. They had many rewrites of a Lucas story, including one by Frank Durabont (Green Mile). Both Harrison and Speilberg liked this story, yet George felt it was missing something so they decided to get it re-written.

So...now Speilberg has moved on to other projects and Indiana Jones 4 is left in production hell.

But isn't Harrison Ford getting a little old to be running around like that?

He played a 50 yr old version of himself in one of the episodes of Young Indiana Jones.
Originally I thought he could still proberly do it, but the more they delay it, the older Harrison will get.

i hope it doesnt turn into tomb raider- because the game originally ripped off the indiana jones idea and replaced it with a hot chcik to consume gamers.

but the movies are great- i loved watching all of them as a kid.

but u gotta like connery in the last crusade playing his father- harrison will probably do the same thing to a younger actor

I think thats another great thing about the Indiana Jones series. It wasn't full of Computer stuff. They did all the stuff for real or miniture!

...yet Indiana Jones has seen people melt, heads explode, people have their hearts ripped out, engulfed in lava, been beheaded, and grown from man to rock in a period of 10 seconds. The Indiana Jones series has achieved such feats without Computer effects and to me they all seem quite real
