Everyone know joy?
Sure, you know Joy: one of those silly statues the last VC spent tonnes of money on (incidently, the statue budget at MQ was larger than that of the entire english department...)

I may be seriously behind the times, having been here for 3 years and only just found this out. If so, yell at me. Otherwise, read on and be amazed: Apparently she's a prostitute (actually, a statue of one). Apparently she's actually the only stone prostitute in the world, too..

Just a bit of interesting trivia. Hope it livened up your evening!

MJ asked where she was, too, when I just showed her! How are you all so unobservational? Gah. She's in the W6B courtyard, on the eastern end (furthest away from Mac Theatre).

..and just in case you're interested, she was sculpted by Louie Fraser in 1995, and is made of white cement, concrete and steel. (source)

It should be 'Real Tennis'. Real Tennis is a game played in something similar to a squash court, only the size of a Tennis court. It's similar to squash, except one side of the court is sloped down, so that you can prepare for a shot before the ball is within reach.
