just a note re modifying SAM (1 Viewer)

No doubt the guys who modify/maintain SAM have got lots of notes about its predictions this year, what with some subjects scaling way differently and english being harder in general, but I thought I would just inform them that though it is said to be accurate within 0.2-0.5 with UAIs over 90, it was out by 1.4 for me. Here are my results: English Advanced 90, Mathematics 83, Ancient History 91, Physics 83, Japanese Continuers 93, Japanese Extension 45. SAM's predicted UAI: 94.25, actual 2006 UAI: 95.65. I dunno if this helps anyone at all but just thought I'd put it up in case it does. Thanks

SAM estimated my UAI to be 95.5 but i got 95.75- i did different subjects to you except for history and english- i got 94 in history and 82 in english- for my other subjects i got on average 94, but they were really easy= bad scaling. I reckon that it must have been the english exam that stuffed up the SAM predictions as well -with people who got above somewhere in the mid 80s in english having their UAI's shoot up.
