Why is there no beer society? Or a marketing society?

well the university gives you 5000 to start a society. i think its 5000 by memory. But it has to be approved by something. lol

uju your right one of my friends is the president. Im going to be the very first name on the list. So my member number will be 0000000001 ((if there is member numbers...lol). I think wease said shes making cards for it, and they will prolly be equally as dodgy as the university student id's prolly. lol. (or equally as good)

$5000? I am sooooo starting my pirate society next year then.

EDIT: wow, I don't really care how much actually, although approval might be difficult unless I find some arts students to make its "official" purpose to appreciate pirate literature or something similar.

One of the younger societies around, but it's already making big inroads into the music industry - we run our own orchestra and we're already one of the big players in the electronic music scene. We also have education programs and our own music Label, PolySypherEclectic.
