I remember listening to robbie buck's program on the radio a few weeks ago when this opera singer came on to do a live track, and i'm like *grumble* but I listened and it was just out-freaking-standing, and was as far from opera as I could imagine. So I remembered her name and tracked down some of her music.
"The Space They Cannot Touch" is a track from her that most will know if they listen to the Js frequently. It's been around for quite some time, but now Kate Miller-Heidke has a new EP set for launch this coming saturday which looks (and sounds) to be amazing.
Those who are keen on the sounds of Aimee Mann/Fiona Apple will enjoy. Those who enjoyed Missy Higgins but now want to rip her throat out will probably love Miller-Heidke's stuff too.
