If a 160 g cricket ball is dropped from a height of 2.0 m onto a hard surface, calculate the height to which it will rebound. (Assume that 32% of the kinetic energy of the cricket ball is stored in it as it bounces on a hard surface).

Calculate the GPE, using mgh. Then that would equal to the KE of the ball when it hits the deck. Find 32% of that and that would equal to the GPE at the peak of the ball's rebound. Then solve for h, (2.0035... = 0.16 x 9.8 x h)
