WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! the bondi one "harlos productions' was excelent, my whole year enjoyed it.....they made the mot boring play magical on stage....!!
MAGICAL INDEED! There certainly was something not quite right, unearthly, slightly extra-terrestrial about those monkeys!
And I'm quite sure it took some magical witch craft to get someone to kiss the actress who played Gonerill. [erk!]

I saw it 1st night two. I didnt think it was that bad though. It wasnt great but itd b pretty hard to make a king lear play good. It was beter than the peter brooks one, at least the bondi ones funny even if it is only because of the monkeys and dogs and cordelia/oswald's annoying accent.

i saw it and loved it. go in with an open mind and forget all the ideas you have about the characters and you should enjoy it. minimalist but effective.

he was huge! My friends and I considered coming late from the intermission and being locked out, it was extremely boring, and quite confusing. The girl I was sitting next to asked me at least 5 times who the character was meant to be, the robes really weren't all that helpful in distinguishing them.
