I am just about to start studying King Lear for my trials but i am very unsure of where to start and what exactly i should be studying..................If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.

well im in exactly the same position... try this: decide on what 2 interpretations your going 2 use, choose 3 key scenes that will be able to also help illustrate your interpretation. ummm...have a look at some productions of king lear and what kind of interpretation they used... then finally and most IMPORTANTLYY put them all into action and do some practice essay questions and see how you go hope it helpd

yeah thats a good idea. ive only seen the peter brookes version and a play at bondi, so hopefully that should be enough to do alright. . .
