I thought with the 10 year anniversary of his death tommorrow that a thread like this would be appropriate

i have a kurt poster up in my room which has been there for like 4 years now, at least. it's so overdue being taken down, but i can't bring myself to do it. i never listen to nirvana anymore but its weird, they were the first band i was ever REALLY passionate about so i have this sentimental thing happening

he was a pretty amazing person i think

I heard that being promoted while I was in the car today and I was horrified. Something along the lines of
"we're having a final interview with Kurt from beyond the grave"
I admit, I'm not 100% sure on what ezactly they said but it was of those sentiments and I thought it was really cheap. Kurt would roll over in his grave if he knew commercial radio stations were using his anniversary as a way to boost their ratings.

i agree that kurt cobain is a legend... but he did commit suicide, i am sure of that, if anyone else has read his biography/autobiography (he didnt write it.. whichever one that is), they will be persuaded to the suicide argument.. eg. when he was about 17 he told his best friend that when we got famous he would kill himself.. that is just one little thing... still.. its a damn shame he died... and yes courtney love is still a fucked up wacko
