Anything under 2kg shouldn't be too bad...
Netbooks are lighter then that though.

Highly recommend the MSI Wind.
12" Netbooks might be a bit more suitable for people that can't stand a 10" screen.

1.5kg more or less. depending on the brand. I find that Samsung's are the lightest.

its heavy, but it's solid.
