That's what bothers me - the odds of getting it done with NO problems aren't so great. I've heard varying statistics that the most common complication, dry eyes, which may be permanent, occurs in something like 18-35% of all cases iirc.
Minor complications aren't rare.
I wonder how long even a successful patient has before they need glasses again. I don't think laser surgery can do what I want it to (no glasses for at least 20 years).
I'm still going to my free consultation though. If I'm not eligible then I won't need to make the difficult decision.
