So does anyone have any tips for creative writing when you're doing it off the spot, and you only know a bit of it off by heart nom saying?

Have a clear progression.

Keep it realistic, make sure your language is consistent and the notion of belonging is prevalent throughout your entire creative, not just thrown in at the end
