from what i got up there...a bep question for sure. then a question on assumptions/limitations of cvp. then a decision making question. i think that'll be a question with the 3 parts.

having a copy of a pink paper isnt all that good, unless youre the only one.. cos by the time you get a copy, everyone else has one.. in which case, its back to the even playing field.


(soo annoyed.. no pink paper today.. except they did reuse one question from a past paper.. which annoyed me.. cos i thought it was beyond the scope of a syllabus.)

i knew i should have studied the linear programming stuff. didnt had time to do last 5 mc.

and i was weak with the absorption and variable costing.

i am trying to put together the exam, somone help me out.

q1. abc - practical + theory(that was a nice theory question, gunned it)

q6. absorption and variable, comparing the 2 income statements
q7. linear programming

i know there was that budgeting question (gunned) and joint costing (gunned). what else was there? i got some fucked up memory.

so wish i had time to learn absorption/variable and linear programming

they put it saturday, cos they're cruel..

it's typical of timetable people to screw us over.. first it was 5 days weeks for first year (then four day weeks for second year).. and for most of them 9am starts.. and like 2pm finishes..

(alternatively, they think we need a quite environment.. cos i mean, whod actually goo to uni on saturday to an exam anyways)

twas expecting 100x worse..guess i was psyching myself out..dont get me wrong, it was difficult, esp. the MC which took bloody ages! i was so relieved they didnt make us to a budget cos i so didn't get that..did every1 draw a linear programming graph? i didnt..only drew the axis lol~ didnt need it 2 solve the q which was good..


now we shall c how the results come out..

I think q.5 was the equivalent units one. There was also a question on variances (q.3?) and joint cost allocation (prob q.4). q2 can't remember....
