You voted today, didn't you, ohne? What are your thoughts on the lack of an official Liberal candidate? I'm just interested, that's all.

It would have been a waste of time to run a candidate. It is unlikely they would have won and hence it would have been a waste of money. Even if they did win they would only lose it again in the next general election. The liberal party hardly needs another seat in the lower house anyway.

I voted for the ALP candidate, Chris Hayes. He actually lives in the electorate unlike most of the candidates and is also a small business person. The independent liberal guy doesn't live anywhere near here (he lives in caringbah) and he is a former advisor to jackie kelly who is not exactly my favourite liberal MP.
