Well he can't say he was the greatest leader ever. He has to do that so the Australian people can see that labor can DO MUCH BETTER. He cant say LAtham was the greatest. It would undermine his position.
True, but there was no real need to twist his foot as he put the boot in.

Gillard would push feminist policy, which would ultimately prove disasterous for our nation. Affirmative Action. I like Macklin though.

I agree with the absolute opposite to what you said. :)

Yeah well, you're an idiot. In Gillard, we have a leader who wants to abolish father's rights, increase affirmative action and women's issues, and see men become even more of a subordinate class.

Latham is quitting as leader and also as the member for Werriwa. This means he will not be a member of parliament.
How awful would making that decision feel? I feel sorry for him (and his pancreas). I mean, you invest your life, your time away from family, you sacrifice friends and hobbies to try and achieve something BIG. Then he doesn't get near, and gets really sick.

That's what I call supreme bad luck.

In the meantime, I shall chant with a hearty voice and spirit...

BEAZLEY BEAZLEY BEAZLEY!

(He SHOULD of won in 1998, let 2007 be his year)

Last time I checked, it was Gillard who forced Latham to bring in a feminist women's policy.

Can you also outline reasons as to how the male gender is the "sub-ordinate class" in today's society.

Firstly because its funny heres the headline I'd run tomorrow if I edited a newspaper: LATHAM FALLS ON PANCREAS: Following election defeat Opposition Leader Mark Latham decided not to fall on his sword but on his pancreas.

Beazely for leader, Rudd for deputy and foriegn affairs, Emerson for Treasurer and Gillard for something else prominent possibly education. The later three all needing to be more vocal than both they and the previous ministers have been in the past.

That is a dream national security/foriegn affirs team combining the most articulate foriegn affairs spokesman for years with an experieced Defence Minister. Emerson and Gillard are both great debaters who should be able to more than redress the balance with Abbot and Nelson.

Beazely Rudd tie up WA and QLD, Rudd gets thinkers on Foriegn Policy, Beazely gets doers in defence/foriegn affairs, Rudd gets Christian voters. Gillard gets lefties and women, Emerson can out-debate any liberal. This team provides a fair mix left/right/centre.

Last time I heard beazley on Lateline he was a joke Tony asked him what he thought about unmanned spy planes of the coast of western australia protecting oil fields and he said why didnt they have missiles on them... he really is a joke, a kind of pseudo-blair. My preference is definately for Rudd, he might bring back our respectability in asia. But yeh Labor is out of steam, Kerry Nettle for Prime Minister!! If only...

GILLARD!
Serioudly she's my hero, when I grow up I wanna be just like her. Only hotter.
But as I seriously doubt that's going to happen...
I think Rudd over Beazley, he's had 3 chances already, he lost THREE times to Howard. Frankly I think he should shut up, sit down and give someone else a go. And you know what irritates me the most about that? Latham lost once and the party pretty much fucked him over, Beazly did it 3 times, and yet the party pretty much stood by him for the first two losses, and the might be giving him another go? what the HELL
Times like these i'm almost (but not really) ashamed to be labor.

Yes i think everyone would, it'd be three strikes and your out and he'll probably never be leader of the party again.

I don't think it'd be pathetic, just very misfortunate for him who was fortunate to have three opportunities but misfortunate to stuff them all up.

...what is the feminist womans policy?

Outline it please

Is this the one where the party has to have a certain percentage of women running for seats in the election?

Among others. Gillard is a champion of the feminist movement, while Latham was a champion for fathers and men's rights. If only he had free rein to make his policies clear - but that's the nature of the Labor Caucus.

No, but championing "Affirmative Action" and other female-friendly policies does.
