Hey people, if anyone has any good vocab lists that i can use for study it would be much apreciated...

There was this one teacher who compiled a syllabus vocab list with all the vocab needed for Years 9-12. Ask your teacher if they can find a copy of it, its pretty well circulated

i've always wanted to learn lating but there's NO room in my degree for it (seeing as i'm at Cumberland). how else can you learn it?

There is a thing called self-learning if you haven't noticed I am doing it right now and it's been fine so far.. Other than the fact that I want to actually hear some people who knows how to speak Latin speak the language.. Here are a few websites which you may find useful:

http://www.learnlatin.tk/ - the first Latin site I came across.. can be replaced by a book
http://www.textkit.com/latin_grammar.php/ - this one is good U______U
http://www.tldownload.com/nothanx.html/ - download it but haven't tried it..
http://www.utexas.edu/courses/cc303/sounds/ - some pronounciations

Also, go to your local library.. I found a reeeeeally good one Never liked the look of those Oxford and Cambridge ones... After you have learnt the basics and you like it, get a dictionary and start reading poetry and things (I haven't actually done that yet.. but I can see that happening U____U)

The guy who made the Vocabulator is Robert d'Apice.
It's a (really useful!) computer program that tests you on the syllabus vocab. He's releasing a new and improved version this month I think.. you can email him to ask about buying a copy at latinvocabulator@hotmail.com. :uhhuh:
