hi everyone :)

i recently got into macquarie, wollongong, newcastle, and western sydney for law through early entry and was wondering which would be considered the best??

i know obviously that usyd and unsw are more prestigious but being a regional student (and given i didnt do the LAT) im not sure i can get into either of those through direct entry without transferring in one of my later years of study

rn uts is my main preference but their early offers arent out yet so i was just wondering what you guys recommended thank you!!

macq is probably the most well regarded out of that selection

guys whats the better alternative to unsw law if i dont make it with my atar:

1. go to maquarie law/commerce then transfer
2. do criminology in unsw then transfer into law

take the law cs like what if u don't get into unsw (not saying u cant but like there's always a 'what if' yk) thats my plan lol
i got into wsu for law and science which i hope the science can help me transfer into veterinary science but if not i can continue with law yk

yeah ofc but the thing is that perhaps its easier to transfer within the school rather then another? i was planning on doing a double degree in criminology and law in unsw so i would be halfway there if i did the 2nd option. idk ill see whats the happs on december then.

yeah your decision is smart, good luck!

yeah ur not wrong about internal transfers but like wsu isn't a bad uni (maybe cs current rep... but like law is law yk) so employment shouldn't be hard. also (coming from my dad whos also a lawyer) criminology and law is practically same thing if u dont fine comb the degree so like commerce and law would be much more interesting imo.. it's lowkey like studying how cake and brownies are made, it's gonna be hella repetitive cs they're so similar.
and career wise, what if u don't wanna do law in the future, commerce could get u places too whilst criminology is basically the same thing

idk this is just my opinion lol
