Hey I need a hand with something,

Do we need to refer to the plot of Lear and his daughters as well as the paralleled subplot of Gloucester and his sons? Or should just one be adequate? I'm trying to trim down my generic essay; it would help a lot to be able to take out my discussions on the subplot of Gloucester.

Cheers.

I dont think you 'have to' refer to the Gloucester plot
(only use it if it helps prove your thesis)
otherwise, just cut it out for your own convienience

Thanks for that. :) I just saw it in there and was curious as to whether it is actually integral to my argument or not. I'll cut it out and just elaborate further on the main plot of Lear. Cheers.
