I was just wondering wheres the best place to get leather pants from. Like the ones in the movie Grease. Has anyone seen them in vinnies or any op shops?

I'm with everyone else - you'll probably have to op shop it.

Also, on account of the materials involved they tend to be rather expensive... hence, it points even further towards op shops - I've seen quite a few in them however.

Yeah they can be found in op-shops, but leather pants are the sort of thing that should never be bought second hand. People tend to do alot of sweating in them...

But anyway, I havent seen any recently, none of the mainstream stores would stock them.

Hmmm... having been swing dancing under stage lights almost every night for weeks in leather pants at one time, I can safely say that with any heat or exertion, the sweat factor is rank.

Absolutely fucking rank.

To give you an idea of how intense, I had to leave them outside each night.

So if you get them, don't go thinking you'll run a marathon in them unless they're somewhat loose (Which defeats the purpose ).

I just wanted a pair for fancy dress. If not i think i will just get a black pair of jeans.
