Legal Issues involved in Piracy (1 Viewer)

Normally when you're asked to evaluate something you should always first explain what the issue is, you need to assume that the reader isn't even aware of what the issue is at first. So in this instance you would go along the lines of something like:
1. Definition of piracy.
2. Explain how technology develops faster than the law can change.
3. Then go into the issues of piracy, why they exist, what's done to change it.
4. Evaluate both sides!
5. Then take a stance.

Well you definitely wouldn't say "it's good because". The language in SDD long answers should be as formal as the language you would use in an English response (though less embellished). Avoid first-person language, and be wary of words like "good". "Evaluate" requires you to take a stance, not to give a broad moral judgement. How can an issue be 'good' anyway?
Make sure to stick to legal issues. If an issue isn't clearly legal, emphasise the legal aspect of it. Use examples from real life where you can. Provide names of entities and dates of events in your examples. Take a stance on each issue, not on piracy issues as a whole. Stick to nuanced issues that don't have obvious right-and-wrong sides. Your stance also doesn't need to be concrete; you just have to demonstrate that you've used your own sense in judging an issue.
If the question has n marks allocated to it, aim to cover n issues, with a nice intro and conclusion. A small paragraph (3-4 sentences) should be dedicated to each issue. Cover n+1 issues if you're unsure about any of the ones you've listed. You won't get marked down for having an answer that's too detailed.
