Hey,

So who has seen it? I watched it on Friday, and I expected it to be much better. Although the setting and costume design was fantastic. But other then that, its lacking something, I just can't figure out what it is.

i haven't seen all of it yet, but i've seen bits and pieces, and the audiences seem to laugh a lot at it, but i didn't find it particularly funny

Hmm... don't think they should've squished 3 books into one film. Feels more like a bunch of interesting scenes with minor plots put together rather than a proper film...

Lemony Snickets: A Series of overtly lame Jim Carrey expressionisms. Too bad the plot and acting couldnt match the set design and filming. Dissappointing. 1/5 stars.

I SO wanna see this. Love Jim Carrey's work.

Oh and this IS a children's movie, so that's probably why you guys didn't find it particularly funny ?

of course! those who initially wanted to watch it, should.
it wasn't the worst film of all time, there were aspects of the film that were good, but it is lacking something.
