Hey guys, I was just wondering what the suggested length for the creative writing piece should be. The genre I'm studying is science-fiction, if that's any clarification.

I generally aim for around 800-1000.

For extension? Really?
Given that you don't do it, it's excusable if you don't know that we're given/are suggested to spend roughly one hour on our creative. With that one hour, I think it should be a fair bit higher than 1000.

Does anyone who does extension actually have an idea as to how long it's meant to be?

For 22/25 I wrote 939 words.

I suggest aiming for somewhere between 900-1300 words. You don't really need to write too much more just because it's extension. You just need to represent the ideas and themes of your module appropriately.
