LENI: How to answer the "assess" question???? (1 Viewer)

Hi.
For the "assess" question, can we say that Leni was "partially" a propagandist??? I'm sort of confused because i believe that "Triumph of the Will" and "Victory of Faith" are pure propaganda, but i belive that "Olympia" isnt.
Or do we have to portray her as either a "propagandist" or "non-propagandist"?

sitting on the fence is fine, just as long as you explain well which parts you think she was a Nazi propagandist and which parts you think she wasnt. Just make it clear where you support her and where you dont, and back both sides up with evidence. Assess just means make a judgement, youre judgement is that she was a propagandist during the making of "Triumph of the Will" and "Victory of Faith" but she wasnt a propagandist during the making of "Olympia".
