I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I'm actually expecting them to.

social issues of superconductivity? like the japanese trains? wat else is there??? :S

ummmmm do u know of any possibly long questions from motors and generators?

Uses such as electricity generation, transmission and storage.
Production of magnetic fields - MRIs, Maglev.
Electronic devices - SQUIDs.
Advantages and disadvantage - limitations for these sorta things.

For Motors and Generators, maybe questions like "assess the effects of AC generators..." or "discuss the impact of transformers". Something like that.

What ever the long mark questions remember not to waffle too long. Unlike English papers are not double marked.

They are looking for distinct points and structure.
Eg look at that keyword and answer it.

Last years Einstein question, for six marks could be answered well in 3 lines if you are specific.

If they ask for a change make sure you say before and after.
