Where have you been studying? I'm always at UNSW library, I try to avoid level 9 as much as I can because the noise level is fcking insane. Level 4 is my home *hugs*

I think I went to state library like once but it was way too hectic and over-crowded. I need my space >__<. Maybe I was just in a weird section. I try studying at my local suburban library but the temptation to go home or gallavant around the area is far too great.

Most people in the Sydney metropolitan area go to state library though right? That place is a hell-hole for people on crack. The book check-in system is also really fcking retarded. Gee I'm only taking my related texts, study guides and textbooks into the library, why don't I stand outside for half an hour and write a book about it.

No love for State Library.

Ahh... My home is filled with distractions and I, dearest legham, have no self control what-so-ever. So I scab money off my parents everyday, eat a load of junk (lots of coffee and those weird random asian drinks from the uni vending machines. OH OH AND HAPPY HOUR AT THE UNIBAR) and do a fckload of work *nods vigorously*

I can't get anything done in this house =(
I can't even get to sleep!

ahh yeah, that'd probably work. But i don't do work at home because i dont want to.. so i can't see the point in trying to force myself to go to a library, when i clearly don't want to be doing work.

I know what you mean when you say the home is filled with distractions. I have no discipline when it comes to household distractions. I even had to delete my myspace before the half yearlies.

As for libraries, well I've tried quite a few, and it's changed from the half yearlies to the HSC. For the half-yearlies I spent all my time at Max Webber at Blacktown, which was fairly quiet back then. Then for the trials, Max Webber started getting crowded and far too noisy (even the quiet study rooms), so I started going to the library in Castle Hill (which is probably just as noisy, but at least there's no one there that I know). But with HSC in action, I've been going to UWS Parra, which is much more quieter.

I've studied for the majority of my exams at home, well come to look at it, i've studied for all my exams at home. :) Yesterday though, seeing I had 9 days to study for legal, I decided to go to the local library to 'study', which resulted in hanging out with half of my mates and evidently being kicked out of the library. I never once thought that I would be kicked out of a library half way through my HSC examinations. Well there's always a first for something I suppose...

I studied at home for English Adv and Mod Hist and I f-ed those up a fair bit imo. I studied at Kogarah Library for Society & IPT, and those felt better. Moral support I suppose, and discussion and all that.

LMAO! I still have myspace... I don't use it as much though. I mean on my breaks and stuff if I'm at home, but I'd feel like I'm losing apart of me! Sooo I go to a place with no distraction and leave all distraction at home!

If anything my bloody guitars are the most distracting thing in the house. I can't delete those! I guess I could hide them somewhere.
This forum is also pretty distracting... but I guess it's ok because I only check through on my breaks. Seriously, some of the things people write. Half the time I'm choking over fits of laughter. BoS forums = Comic relief!

UNSW LIBRARY FTW!

I have trouble studying, no matter where I am. Throughout the day my house is empty as everyone's at work - even then I can't study.

I went to Bowen Library a few times during the holidays but that's it.

psychosomatic, I want to do the same course as you :D but, but I don't think I'll get in anymore :(

Fuck math.

EWWW! BOWEN! lmao, sorry. It's not that bad. I studied there for the entire year. Like everyday after school. GAH. Then I moved to unsw *cheesy grins*

Then all the boys from marcellin followed us. *shakes fist*

I completely understand. LOL. It is pretty bad, actually. Bowen Library is more a place for socialising than studying.

lols , i go to liverpool library on most days - it USED to be quiet.
now its always filled with tonnes of teenyboppers and whatever else , sitting around chatting and all.
plus , i dont know if somethings going in , but lately i've seen quite a lot of people who look like theyre suffering from down syndrome in there - so i duno , maybe they've got something going at the moment. the only problem with them is that they repeatedly scream out tunes and song lyrics.

SAME! Livo ftw. <3
Except for the Downs Syndrome thing. Ahah, honestly.

I just study at home. Locking myself in my room and headdesking repeatedly does equal studying, yes.

But whenever I go to Bowen, my friends and I always sit on the opposite side - facing Anzac Parade. LOL much better there. Still don't get any work done.
