The typical "skills shortage" mantra, but no mention of the shocking unemployment rate for science graduates. They don't seem to understand that students are avoiding the sciences for a reason. Why do they want to increase supply without demand?

Yea I don't quite understand this either... why is there such a push for more science students without further investment IN science? Sure it would be awesome to have a scientific society but we're just not being led in that direction at all.
