I’m stressed because my school hasn’t given any indication as to whats going on following the recent events, the trials are still supposedly weeks 5-6 but with the way things are going right now everything feels very uncertain :(

it is harder for me to study only at home, because I have problems concentrating and I am very easily distracted by absolutely random things and then I cannot return to learning, so I can learn and remember little

maybe someone has advice on how to improve their concentration and stop being distracted all the time because I'm already tired ...

Improving concentration firstly requires getting rid of any distractions, particularly while you're studying. Those include any devices you don't use for study like your phone, or any other objects/factors that might distract you while studying. This ensures your focus is on your studies, not on anything irrelevant/which may cause you to waste time.

Addressing this issue also has to do with how much time you’re allocating towards your studies at home as well as how well your study plan is organised. Essentially, handling your studies effectively implies breaking your tasks down into manageable parts, which assists in simplifying and shaping your study goals more effectively. Since you mentioned you're having problems concentrating, returning to learning as well as being tired, you need to ensure you're regularly having breaks because the brain normally reaches a point where it is no longer able to handle/process information the way it's intended to, leading to lack of concentration, distraction and fatigue. Overwhelming pressure could be a cause for what you're currently experiencing and breaks are a good way of solving this problem.

Yes, it's probably the most effective way to break down the general training plan into small tasks, but unfortunately even this is sometimes difficult for me.

Sometimes I use a stupid motivation system, for example, I have to read a certain amount of educational material before I can pick up the phone and answer a message :rolleyes:🤪
and then the same
I understand that this is wrong, since phones and tablets etc. generally need to be removed from work, but sometimes it is easier for me to do such distracting maneuvers than not to be distracted by anything at all

No worries! It's definitely not easy to get it right as you mentioned, and particularly difficult to succeed the first time, which is why such habits need to be adopted gradually, allowing for the development of a healthy mindset which eventually enables you to successfully address the issue.

I used to do the exact same thing as you haha 😅 Perhaps you could use your phone/tablet during your break instead and then placing it outside the room in which you study when break time is over?

yeah same here, i honestly haven’t had motivation to study for days due to how unpredictable everything feels.

that might be why I'm so unmotivated to study lol. I'm very tempted to drop out but at the same time its so close to hsc exams so may as well keep on going

Take everything you read on this and from people around you with a pinch of salt. I know it's not a good outlook to have, but in this case I'm pretty sure it applies. You'd be surprised how many people say that they "aren't doing anything and have no motivation to do anything and haven't done a single trial paper in weeks", but in reality, they are studying harder than ever. People being misleading, isn't a moral thing to do, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who want any sort of edge on strangers. Idk, just to keep in mind I guess. I know that at my school, people are saying that they did only 4 trial papers to one person, and to another they say they've done 1, (but I'm sure they've done about 17 let's be honest).

lol mood, i lowkey give up on putting effort for the trials after all the cancellations and now the fact that they’re online, i’m just gonna cruise along and maybe put in some effort for the hsc depending on how things go.
honestly same, like ive kind of given up and its a shame cos i really did work my ass off, but everything started toppling from last term, its such a dissapointment. especially when others are saying how much they've studied...

what on earth, are you from western sydney or the northern beach though, hows that gonna work

That can't be right... We were told that they'd go ahead similar to that but weighted at 0%, because of people being in different home circumstances making it unfair.

Surely different schools wont be calculating differently??

Nothing out of the ordinary about passing out post-vaccination, like any shot.
Crazy that anti-vaxxers post that stuff online which not only violates students' privacy but shows the lunacy behind how they use regular and harmless side effects to perpetuate their loose narrative and to create scare factors...
