13a. you find the midpoint of P & Q by using midpoint formula ( (x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2 ); then determine the parameters of the question and use either identities or substitution to find an equation linking x & y (hint: you don't use substitution)

let me know if you understand it or not, because you really need to understand how to figure out the locuses, similar to these questions, or else you will have a lot of trouble for the rest of the topic
