integral of 5/3x

i get (5 ln 3x)/3 + c

but answer is meant to be (5 ln x)/3 + c

im guessing it has something to do with the derivative of ln x being 1/x but unsure how it all works.

someone please explain how to get from my answer to that answer (in basic terms lol!)

Break up 5/3x into 5/3 * 1/x

Integrate 1/x = ln x

So the answer is (5 ln x)/3 + c

You just had to take out 5/3 as a constant.

ahhh i thought about that but somehow i got stuck on integrating them both seperatly, now i see its dead easy lol. thanks alot :)

Both answers are correct. They only differ by a constant, which can be incorporated into the "+c"
