Around two and a half years for me.

The first two years was spent on and off, on and off, arguments every month, drama, expectations, tears, anger, bitterness, resentment, bile, whatnot. It was like living in an Edward Albee play.

I feel so old and settled these days. Oh well. At least i'm happier.

Hey everyone, im knew to these boards. My names Adam and i go to school at barker college in hornsby.

I was just wondering what is the longest relationship everyone has ever had? And were you still friends afterwoods?

Mine was 13.5 months and it ended really badly and i was hurt a lot. We tried being friends afterwoods but it didnt work. it was my longest relationship by far and it went from year 10 to the end of year 11. My next longest was like 1 month.

What about you guys?

For me, one and half years or was it 17 months. It was over because we decided distance relationships just didn't work out for us and I found out 3 months after our break up that he was cheating on me.

so now i will never date another person until i'm 20.

When you realise the person is only interesting and fun because you are, it's time to let them go. It's a pity when it takes you three years to realise that though. So much wasted time, so much unnecessary habit-breaking pain.
